EDUCATION CREDENTIALS

* Baccalaureate with Honors from Catholic University of America, Washington, D. C. (1970 - 1974)

* Graduate coursework completed in Interpersonal Communications at University of Nebraska, Omaha, NE

* Graduate coursework completed in Pastoral Ministry at Creighton University, Omaha, NE 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

MK Mueller has been successfully training in Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States for 20 years. Her return rate to many of these corporations is only a modicum of the esteem in which she is held professionally.

From 1994 to 1997, Mary Kay toured for syndicated columnist and well-known author John Rosemond throughout the Center for Affirmative Parenting in Gastonia, North Carolina.

In 1997 she published her first book, Taking Care of Me: The Habits of Happiness, which has sold over 80,000 copies and has been translated into Spanish and French. Meanwhile, her original music compositions and performances on her first CD, “Light-Hearted” have won numerous honors.

In 2007 she launched her 8 to Great curriculum for young adults after five years of research with teens in public and private schools. (More information at www.8togreat.com) The program is presently being used by educators, social workers and youth ministers in nine states.

"A semester into the program, I have lots of students coming in after school to share ideas or to talk more about an 8 to Great activity we've completed. Last week we reviewed High-Way 2: Risk. Afterwards, I was presented with poems written by students, quotes found, even a little brother who can break dance (he’s five). It was so much fun that I shared all those things this week with the entire student body. That's what I call a great week!!"
